FAQS

Does insurance cover windshield replacement in Texas?

Yes — most comprehensive policies cover it. Texas does not automatically waive your deductible like some states, but we bill your insurance directly and handle the claim so you don’t have to.

How much does windshield replacement cost in Houston?

Prices typically range $300–$800 depending on vehicle make, model, and whether ADAS calibration is required. Luxury and classic cars are on the higher end. We always give you an exact quote upfront.

What is ADAS calibration and why do I need it after a new windshield?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes lane-keeping, automatic braking, and adaptive cruise control. A new windshield changes the camera angle, so we recalibrate it on-site to factory specs for your safety.

How long does ceramic coating last in Houston heat?

Our professional ceramic coatings last 3–7 years with proper maintenance. Houston’s intense sun and humidity make quality ceramic coating one of the best investments for protecting your paint.

Do you work on classic cars and luxury vehicles?

Yes — we specialize in reconditioning classic car glass, full paint correction, and detailing for luxury and exotic vehicles. Pilkington glass and OEM-level work is our standard.

How soon can you repair or replace my windshield?

Most jobs are done same-day or next-day.

Can I drive after windshield replacement?

It takes about an hour to install a new windshield, and you should wait a least one hour before driving. For the next 8 hours, the adhesive isn’t fully secure, so drive cautiously and, if possible, head straight home.  Keep a window slightly open to prevent air pressure build-ip.  Avoid slamming doors, rough terrain and speed bumps for 24 hours to protect your new glass

How soon can I wash my car after windshield replacement?

After a windshield replacement, avoid car washes for at least 24 hours—ideally several days—to allow the urethane seal to dry fully. High-pressure washing can compromise the seal, but hand washing with gentle water is safe. Rainwater will not affect your new windshield.
